Ya the p3 wouldn't fold very quickly..

I dont know about why the fan revs up and down.. thats strange, have you tried to download speedfan and set the RPM at a fixed speed??

I'm only running 1 GPU and 2 consoles.

Hrm, thats odd, we are running almost the same setup.... Well, only major difference is that the C2D I am running dual clients on is a laptop, that might be killing mine... and I have a 4th client running on a PC in the basement at my parents house that they keep on for some reason and don't use... I think that is a P3 1.0Ghz... takes forever to complete a WU.

Right now I just put AS5 on my P4 1.8GHz, and added a quieter fan. Now I think the AS5 needs time to cure right? Because the temperatures are higher, now with the AS5. Hopefully if this works out, I can use this to fold as well.

yes.
They say AS5 takes about 100hrs to fully cure.

Right now it's 46-49C idle. Should I run the console? Or wait for it to cure? Or is having the CPU on load, curing the AS5.

Well when I dropped in my E6600 I went right to folding at home.. it didnt seem to hurt it. Do you know what the max safe temp of your cpu is?
