I would seriously overclock your brisbane with a better mobo such as the Biostar 550 since the 3600 will hit 2.6ghz on stock cooling saving you quite some cash...however it's fine if you don't overclock as well.

I recommend this ram instead though.

wow those used to be $104.99, last time I saw them. yea...I would definitely go with the set of ram, Sora suggested.

It's almost sickening now becuase I payed a total of 215 bucks for my 2GB set of Green Nr's while the HZ's are only 135 now lol...oh well though.

Since you're changing the motherboard, you're going to have to, reformat and reinstall Windows. So before you do that, I suggest you backup your important data first.

hmm only thing i have for windows is my old stytem recovery disc for emachines. i need to go out and purchase a new OS correct? or will it reinstall the OS on the new mobo, using the old HDD as it runs fine, but the old Mobo and or CPU is dead.
