you should be able to oc that 3800 to about 2.5 without increasing the voltage.
really, the way you can really screw something up is to add TOO much voltage.
a little is okay, but you should be careful about going past its specs (ie dont do it).

ok so one last question without heading into overclocking in the thousands how good it will perform WITHOUT me having to change the VOLTAGE aND RUN STABLE!! as in like 4200+ or 4600+ lol if 4600+ i would be xtremely happy :p
 
you should be able to clock to 2.4 (4600) easily.
i can clock my 3600 to the same speed as a 6000 with a little work (still missing the cache, though).

man that is awesome!! NO REASON TO BUY A **** 6000+ anymore i guess :D
