Do you use protection??

sorry couldn't resist the title I have just reconfigured my laptop and I was wondering what the best protection programs are now as I have been using linux...... I have avg and spybot on my desktop any other good ones they don't have to be free I don't mind paying but they need to have very low background cpu footprint

so I need:
anti-virus
anti-spy
firewall

AVGfree..... its free and by far the best antivirus/rookit/spyware protector and you already mentioned spybot.

There is a sticky on the threads with free software thats anti virus and such, I use AVG, SpyBot & my nvidia firewall and have very few problems.

Comodo - Firewall (Solid as a rock - free for ever).
