Processor overheating

any way you can switch it out with say, a friends cpu? see if it has the same problem?
it sounds like a processor problem to me as well...
you say you were having this same problem for one year before your old mobo died?
i would suggest, if you cant lay your hands on another p4 from a buddy to test with, that you go ahead and change (ie buy a new one) the cpu. seems like you have pretty much tried everything else.

I know pentium 4 are bad for overheating but I heard someone had 80 degrees on load with p4 so i reccomend you to buy core 2 duo processor or upgrade your heatsink.

What are you going to use the computer for? if you are going to play games then i suggest you to get one of the ASUS motherboard or maybe GIGABYTE. For the cpu, core 2 duo will be good as it can overclock alot with sufficent cooling.
