ati direct x prob

i had a geforce fx 5600xt 256mb card
i just purchased a radeon 9800 pro to replace it and the dirct x agp acceleration doest work it is grayed out and says not available, have all newest ati drivers 4.6
and direct x 9.0b
intel 2.8
intel 865perl board 8x agp
512mb ddr400
ATI 9800 pro 8Xagp
and so on
Any suggestions

Reformat, trust me, I've just made the switch and it's a ***** if you don't reformat.

Wart, are talking about reformatting your HD? If so, biovat do not, I REPEAT DO NOT REFORMAT YOUR HD! You'll lose everything (music, movies, software, etc.) However, if your not talking about reformatting your HD, then what are you talking about?

I already reformated and still the same and in my 4.6 driver for ati the smartgaurd says agp is off
getting frustrated help please
