Setting up a web server

Hello all,
I've been wanting to learn ASP.NET for a while, but I haven't been able to find any information on setting up a home server. I've used apache and PHP on windows several times, but never IIS.

Could someone explain how to set up one of these servers?

It is quit easy, place the window's cd on CDROM go to Control panel>add and remove programs>add/remove window's components
then check the Internet Information Services(IIS) and then next...

Check out XAMPP. Easiest way to set up a server, if youve never done it before. Comes with anything youd ever need.

apache friends - xampp for windows
