Geforce 7600 gs oc help!

hi i have just bought a new video card the geforce 7600 gs oc and i'm using a DVI input when i try and use it my screen will appear but then turn blue and tell me "over range" if i could get some help with this that would be great thanks

did u uninstall the old video driver before u installed the new graphic card

is the screen resolution set too high or the refresh rate to high

what kind of monitor is it? if its LCD plug it to VGA and install DVI drivers, reboot and then plug DVI back in
