My AIM starting acting up on me the other day. Now I have uninstalled AIM, MiddleMan and deleted all traces from the registry and reinstalled it. When I run AIM, the RAM usage will go up to around 50MB and Dr Watson Debugger will run in the back round, neither will go away unless I end them through the task manager. And when I finally get on to AIM, and I try to check my email with Outlook Express, it won't work, it will do the same that AIM does, use a ton of RAM and get debugged. And when I start up my computer, I usually have to end explorer.exe a few times to get it to stop freezing.

Any one have any idea? I ran S&D and it got rid of a lot, CCcleaner got rid of even more. My last resort is to just format.

I would run spyware, adware, and your anti virus stuff first, all at full scan. Then if that doesnt see anything i would put in your xp cd and run the repair console off of it and use "chkdsk /r /p"
