My new pc is driving me crazy with these problems that I should know how to fix.
Please help me.
I have a network in my home and with my laptop I can just plug up the cat 5 cord and browse with no problem.
It has windows xp pro on it. The other day I got a dial up account and I used the manual install to setup a generic dial up for it. For some reason last night, the dial up profile would not allow the broadband to access the internet. I kept getting the dial up window when I try to browse. When I close it off or click cancel it goes straight to offline browsing. Short of deleting the dial up profile and reseting my connections to connect with the broadband it would seem that I cannot have both on this pc.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
I want my broadband to be my default and my dialup my backup for when I am out. Can anyone help?
