I had a DRM bug and to fix it, I did a complete full format of the harddrive and a clean install of windows XP home SP2. now when i play any file that happens to be stored on my harddrive (DRM or not, not matter what file type AVI, Mpg, WMV), all videos are darker and have a redish tint to them, no matter if i play them in winamp, VLC, or WMP.
All drivers are fresh, and my Nvidia 6800 is using the latest of Nvidia's own drivers. Videos online streaming are clear and how they should be, IE.. youtube, myspace, etc...
The basic codecs are here, Divx, VLC, and whatever WMP happens to load.
Could this just be some setting that I overlooked? How can I fix this video problem?
Thanks,
ohgr
