Vista detects illegal software?

Why would MS want to detect illegal software? It's not like they are gonna sell more copies of their OS or anything.

It's a control thing. they want to control the market

actually there are two versions of cracking vista the pDx bios emulation and the nopE dvd that has the cracked files in it already, n need to use keygens a all, and ms wouldnt bother trying to boost sales of other companies software if they did have anything about antipiracy it would be there trying to prevent people from using illegal copies of vista, and they cant shut down the bios emulation hack for vista since it would **** of thousand of legit customers

everybody is now. just don't get mad if your computer is compromised in a coupe of years or vista is deleted and you cant do a reinstall. last time you couldn't reinstall windows unless you used 3rd party software to delete the drive

i have 3 comps anyways and im dual booting now so i can still play all my games at full speed and ,i use vista to.... basically because it was free, but so was xp

hopefully Vista never implements paladin or anything like that. the drm thing is already going too far

Not sure what everyone is saying here, as a lot of this has been incoherent. But the STOP TIMER works great on vista, for testing purposes of course.

y stop timer? when you could just install using the nopE cd and its activated as soon as you install it
