socket 939 vs. 754

which do you guys think is better, kinda a money issue.
not sure if i should get the amd 64 3400+ socket 754 or the 3500+ socket 939.
i know the 939 is newer but is it worth the money, and i was looking at some benchmarks, and because the 3400+ has 1mb L2 cache, there is not that noticable of a difference.

what do you guys think?

well.. i would just get the 64 3400. I doubt u will be able to tell the difference between them anyway.

true the 3500 is a little bit faster and it has more contact points for better data transfer, it is your call. They are both great procs.
