Hey guys, I have always thought that video cards in laptops are non removeable with the exception of MXM cards, but I was reading the other day that any dedicated video card can be removed and replaced. Can anyone verify/trash this idea for me please?

Thanks guys.

Hello,

Integrated graphics cannot be removed from a laptop, since they are soldered onto the laptop's motherboard.

Dedicated graphics refers to the GPU having dedicated graphics memory which is independant from the system memory, not that the GPU is removable.

So, it's possible for dedicated graphics to be removable or non-removable.

Hello,

It's very likely that it is integrated. You can find out by checking the specifications of the laptop.
