help please! something wrong wit comp...

well this has been going on for 2 days... my computer will load up but after around 2 minutes after loading.. it will freeze suddenly...

I asked many other people and they told me to go to safemode and do virus scans... = No Viruses and No Threats
I also did a chkdsk by going into recovery console which took forever... it worked fine for like 10 minutes then froze...
I had a feeling it could be related to the internet because when i put on safemode with networking it also froze.............

i am so lost can somebody please please help me -0-

oh and this is my computers specs.. as much as i can get before it freezes...

Oh and its a pent 3 running on Windows XP: Pro - service pack 2
and i recently reformatted my comp..

How long ago did you reformat the HDD. Then did you use the XP disc to reinstall windows. You might of have an error while installing.
