Suggestion for a new Computer

scirishman76- I will give that website a try and see what they have to offer. Of course i don't mind pay a little more for someone to have everything put together and all i have to do is plugging in the monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.,

but when you overclock the e6600 will it outperform the amd's you have listed or still be left behind???

I'm not planning to overclock anything in my computer since I don't know too much of it and I want my system to be running as stable as it can without any tweak.

So I've made my mind to do an AMD build now. I'll be choosing the 6000x2.

What brand of motherboards so i go with? And what kind of ram should I go with. Again, I won't be overclocking anything. I want at least 2gb of ram.

the e6600 is a better performer, consumes less power, runs cooler, overclocks better, and is $235, the 6000 is nice too but the me the choice is clear.

amd & intel boards support ddr800 memory, either way you go this ram would be perfect.
