The X1950XT is A LOT more worth your money. They come in AGP and destroy the 7950GT. They can compete with an 8800GTX 320.

No, it doesn't destroy 7950GT

X1950xt barely outperforms 7950GT

Yes the X1950xt can compete with 8800GTS 320MB, but 8800GTS 320MB itself is not a lot faster than 7950GT

Okay, so if I only had the space for one AGP slot, not the two that the x1950xt takes up, should i get the 7950gt or the X1950Pro? Keeping in mind the bottlenecking my stock Athlon 64 3200+?

Basically the question is:

This

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100171L Radeon X1950PRO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Video Card - Retail

or this

Newegg.com - XFX PVT71AYDF3 GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail

Thanks and sorry for kinda hijacking the topic. Again, I won't be OCing

The 7950 will outperform the 1950Pro, but not by a whole lot.

Boils down to $50 and a shade of performance that the naked eye probably wouldn't see. Besides, the ATI can be used to Fold... hint, hint.

The X1950XT beats the 7950GT in every benchmark and saying that the 8800GTS isn't a lot faster than the 7950GT is an understatement

Are you saying a X1950Xtx competes with an 8800 gtx? if so you are wrong, the X1950Xtx is badly beaten by the 7950 gx2 which in turn gets beaten by the gtx

I think you're wrong backup287. Check here:
VGA Charts | Tom's Hardware

lol sorry bro but only noobs use toms hardware, check this out (not sponsored by ati in any way)
ATI DDR 4 Radeon X1950 XTX takes on Leadtek Geforce 7950 GX2

Edit:
LMAO I just read a little more into your toms hardware guide and it is obviously flawed it says the X1950xtx beats the 8800 gtx! lmao insanity

heres another source if you dont believe my first link
Video Card Guide - Fastest to Slowest - Whirlpool Broadband Forums

shut up and check the links. Smalls was asking about a X1950Pro, not a X1950XTX. No one had mentioned the X1950XTX...

If you're not smart enough to at least read what the discussion is about, go away.

Besides, I read Tom's and the INQ... and a whole lot more. I learned a long tiome ago to cover the same material with more than one source, as that keeps you from sounding like an idiot.
