Hey all
i have been experiancing some video problems the past few days. I have a P4 2.8 1 gig ddr mem, 120 gig h/d ati radeon 9200 video card running on xp. the past few days when i open up netscape and go to web sites i am getting animated Green lines thru the site (that don't belong there) . The best way to describe it is horizontal lines of the matrix running theu the screen. It happens with pages with alot of blue or tan.
when i play any games, they are slow and i get tons of the matrix lines ingame.
the last symptom is that occasionally i could be on teh net or doing nothing and teh monitor will go black.. the only way to get a picture is to reboot.
I am thinking the ati is crapping out on me but i wanted to see if any of you had any ideas that would be cheaper.
If not i will looking for a new card and i will want something good. i am thinking about the ati 9800 or the geforce 5900 any suggestions
