Im new here and have a question.
I got a PC that was just reloaded no more than a week ago. The user has only worked 3 days since it was put in. The internet is moving very slow on the pc. Taking upwards of a minute to load the page. I have done the following:
Released and Renewed IP address
Flushed DNS
Rebooted
Ensured that NIC was set to 100/full duplex
Ran antivirus scan
Ran spware scan
Uninstalled and reinstalled NIC card
Tried a different cable as well as a different port (one which another use was plugged into that was working fine)
Checked to make sure it wasnt looking for a proxy server
Cleared cache and temp folders
Nothing has been installed since it was put in last week. She is the only user in the office that is experiencing the problem. It is a WINXP SP2 machine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
