The 8600GT will be priced the same as the 7600GT (little higher since its new) but it is much faster than the 7600GT.

The 8600GTS will also replace 7900GS. I think the 8600GT is the best value.

I don't think the 8600GT is going to be in the sub-200 dollar range at launch.

a 7900GS will (should lol) oc very well.
i can get mine to 585/830 w/o artifacts.
sora gets his higher, some ridiculous gpu overclock.
i dont know how it plays oblivion with that oc on it, i dont play it (yet).
just thought i'd put that out there.

The 8600GT should retail at $200. The GTS - $250 - A lot of sources say that it is possible to OC the GTS to 1Ghz (80nm) with a voltmod.

They also say that the 8600GT should be around the speed of the 7900GT.

I can't believe no one said this. The E6700 isn't worth it. The E6600 is pretty much the same speed and will overclock actually higher while being a lot cheaper. Even after price cuts I don't think it will be worth it at all.

Actually..after price cuts the E6450 will be the best chip out there for your money as with the 8x multi you can hit 3.5ghz+ easily.
