G,Skill or Kingston

which memory is better G.Skill 2gb or kingston value ram 2gb?

I haven't used G.skill before but i'v heard good things about them....

G.skill is better in terms of Price/Performance but I would go with this kit for 20 bucks more...I highly recommened at least cheap DDR2-800 as it's much more futureproof

I would but too bad my mobo only supports up to DDR2 533 which is pc4200/4300

Which mobo is this? Most mobos support whatever ram speed you can get as long as its DDR2.

They may have a DDR2 STANDARD but it will most likely support it.

I'm going to be you that it would support DDR2-800 just fine...I mean all it would do is underclock the memory anyway but getting 800 right now is much more future proof is all.

you sure it would support it? I mean it says it only supports 544/400 ddr2....plus its an ECS XP

Sure? No

Think? About 95% sure as it would most likely just underclock memory as the stuff is all the same...you choose the speed ram runs in BIOS usually.
