When I log on to windows everything starts loading like my sound card drivers and windows stuff. but it hangs on loading my Antivirus untill My network card drivers have loaded. after that everything runs fine its loading far too slow. it waits for about 2-3 minutes before loading my network card software here are my specs

Athlon X2 3800 2.2GHZ
1GB DD2 RAM
160GB HDD Defragged and clean
Geforce 7600GT 256MB GPU
BT Voyager 1060 PCI network card

Did this problem suddenly start one day or was it always like this?

If it's something to do with the network card, try uninstalling the device by removing the windows drivers and then rebooting to reinstall them.

Since it's hanging on the anti-virus, that could possibly be the problem. Try uninstalling and reinstalling that after you've tried unisntalling the ethernet card driver.

Its not the antivirus or the driver. and there is nothing running that shouldnt be. I keep my computer clean and have no shortcuts on the desktop
