ryt i have a window os cd. all i want to do is delete everything from my pc so i can start afresh.then reinstall my windows. how do i go about doing this?

boot from the cd, delete the partition then reinstall windows

are you trying to format your active hd that you are booting into? (ie., you boot up into Windows assumingly, and then try to format your c:\ that is also your boot?) I think that is your issue...use the windows (or whatever OS cd) you have and boot via cd...then do it that way?

ugh no...just hope you can install from here after formatting...lol...

try to do your hotfixes and whatnot before you start messing around with the questionable sites
