Help!!! New Mb Bios Is Not Posting

NEW Asus A7n8x-x brand new ATI 9600 ALL-In-WonderXT
Xp 2000+
512 PC2700 RAM
I am not sure what the hell is going on.
Turn PC on and the HDD led lights up the light on the MB works, HDD's spin, CD's spin Floppy does its thing, Taking ram out still does nothing. Disconneting HDD's does nothing. Still havent removed all cables from MB to try that. I am at my witts end and am about to throw this thinng out the window. I have spent 300 bucks and still dont have a damn thing that works.
WHy would it not post?
I have removed Battery and cleared CMOS but still nothing I hear no beeps possiblecause i got no case speaker yeah kinda gay working on that though.

Check the processor, the motherboard will not beep if the processor is damaged or not firmly attached to the socket or slot whatever

also if no vid try reseating the vid card. if there is vid, where does it lock up at?

Processor was evidently bad put new xp 2500 in it worked fine. The other chips i tried were not high enough for bord to recognize so thats why they didnt work Thanks for the and your time
