Upgrade Question

I want to try and get another good year or so out of my computer. I only want to put a little money into it. I use my computer for TV/video, Video Games (oblivion , BF2 are the big hogs), Art Programs. I'm currently considering upgrading Either my CPU or RAM. I currently have 512mb pc3200 ram (board is only pc2100 though) and a P4 2.0ghz Northwood (478 soc). I would either get a 2.8 or 3.0 P4 or boost my ram up to 1G by adding another 512. Its about $70 for the cpu or 40 for the ram. Both is not an option at the moment but might be by mid summer. Which would give me a boost for the buck right now?

You need more RAM no doubt about that. You will notice a huge difference. Go with RAM and you'll be happy :happy:

yea you will see only a small increase in performance from uping the CPU (5-10%). Ram is best option.
