I just looked up your sound card just to be sure and it's for PCI not PCI-E dude. This is probably your own wrong doing if you put that into a PCI-E slot.

King$nake, your sound card and video card should not be capable of fitting into the same slot. Your 8800GTS is supposed to be in a PCI Express x16 slot and your Xtremegamer is supposed to be in a regular PCI slot which your mobo has at least two or three PCI slots. I have no idea what you're talking about when you said swapped both cards in the same slot...

I had a similar problem with my RAM. I plugged my RAMM into my CPU slot and it didn't work right so I switched it out with my CPU and now that doesn't work either.
