I paid around £850 for it, about 6 months ago.
All seems well, but its a pile of sh!te.
I play online games on it alot and it packs up every 2-4 months. I either have to put the recovery disk in (Which cost £40) or send it back to be repaired, which is what it's doin now.

I was wounding whether to get a PhysX Accelerator?

Don't know much about them. But it a piece of hardware thats in my price range and sounds interesting :freak:

Would buying one of these help me at all, or just get a new graphics card?

w00p its 3am:eek:

well no dont get in my opinion its waste of money wont help you haha get new graphics card or processor and the physx card is only gonna help in games that use it but not really needed

uneccessary, just sell ur X700 and use that to buy an 8800 gtx, b/c the gtx has a physx in it already plus a real good video card to go with it
