Overclocking on a Non O/C enabled Mobo.

Simply Put... Can i overclock my E6300 even though my Motherboard doesnt support it through Bios, Itsa Gigabyte Mobo, Relatively new (2 Months Old) Ive tried Gigabyte's overclocking software and this wont let me.

So is there any other way to do it ?

Try other software. there are heaps of oc programs. i have my 2.8 p4 oc to 3.2 on my hp computer. thats an non oc motherboard, its just depends on the program u get.

Ok ive got a program to overclock.

Ive downloaded Everest Ultimate Edition to check CPU Temps.

Heres what it says at moemt (idle)

CPU: 15 Degrees C
CPU Core 1: 33 Degrees C
CPU Core 2: 37 Degrees C

So which one should i be looking at when im overclocking ?, the cores or the 'CPU' ?
