Filling up my RAM slots = unstable?

If I decided to buy 2 more gigs of RAM(filling up my 4 slots) would it make my OC unstable? I remember when I had my 3700+ at 2.8ghz, I bought more ram and my overclock became really unstable.

Crysis + Vista. Also the prices are pretty reasonable now. It's only $150 for some really good ram. I remember when it was $210 for the CHEAPEST DDR2 800 ram.

I can't imagine why it would make it unstable... but I would also think (but I, personally, am not entirely clear on how all that works, since I don't overclock) that with that much extra RAM you wouldn't NEED to overclock to get similar speed...
