Heatsink + fan weight

i just bought the cooler master hyper 6+ and AS5 to cool down my cpu but i'm worried that the heatsink and fan might be too heavy. it's 971.3g. Is 971.3g normal?

Its well above the suggested weight but it will not cause any damage unless you throw your computer around.

i mean, will it crack my board in half or anything? because right now i have the cpu tower on its side and if i put it up straight the board bends slightly. the board bends like 2-4mm.

nono, once you screw your motherboard into your case it will be fine....shouldnt do any damage what -so- ever.

ok, i just got it confirmed at a local computer store and they said they have mounted heavier heatsinks + fans to a motherboard without any problems.

yeah it should not be too heavy.
