Would it be worth making all of these upgrades and if not , what would you chose to upgrade to.

Sounds good. You can save some money by going with a E6300 and over clockig it a little. 2 gig will do you better than one for gaming and Vista.

I might be interested in that CPU if the time is right (as well as the price). May be selling my house shortly...

Complete noob at overcloocking , and would want to be sure im able to overclock before buying the cheaper version. Is there a complete guide from start to finish that explains each step clearly that you (or anyone) knows of ?

Finally, How much would you offer for the proccesser, bear in mind that I live in the uk.
