1080i flicker problem

ok I just got a xfx 7600gt and hooked it up to the hdtv via dvi to hdmi cable. Set it to 1080i and all the dialog boxes flicker including websites and some text. Video is great and so is photos and my desktop looks fine. What can I do?

refresh rate = 60

try decreasing the frame rate to 25 to 30 hertz i think those are the common frame rates used

the only option it gives me is 60. Can you tell me how?

you should have more options on your Catalyst Control Center switching hertz a new driver came out for Radeons i think its like version 7.2 try it out
