Enlighten Me On This Rumor!

I heard from my sisters boyfriend that INTEL's latest cpu was not released because it requires TOO MUCH POWER, and that it could no obtain enough power to run it...

it seems like everything is like that now.... even some video cards require power directly from the PSU.

I can find that believable... Enlighten me!

I think their eventually going to have to move away from silicon chips, there is a limit to its possibilities. Not sure if this applies to the power consumption but I pretty sure it does to the temperatures.
