I'm using my DVDRW from my old machine so don't need one of those.

How will this new machine run? Can you suggest any improvements that won't bump up the price.

looks alright, a lot of people though are going for C2D now a days because they can overclock really for better performance. But it's your choice. 5200+ more than enough for decent gaming.

The only thing i can suggest is get a motherboard with an AMD 580x crossfire chipset with a ATI 1650x video card. I found they worked really well together at the AMD low end.

select by what your more likely to do you may also want to view the rig they tested on as this can cause discrepancies in the results.

Ram isn't great I would go with the g-skill Hz's if you can afford otherwise the G-skill value.

Are you going to overclock??

If not get a Asus p5b or Gigabyte ps3 if you are then the antec AW9D-max is a must have.,

The seagate 500gb run a little loud ive got 2 in raid 1 and theyre quite hot but very fast but 2x 320gb in a raid 1 setup would be more space and performance for about £10s more.

power supply is way too big for your requirements look at my specs in my signature and thats only 420w with much higher requirements

both are solid for gaming, but if u do not plan on oc'ing stick with ur amd X2 5200, in fact it scores better, but if u do OC u can get 999$ performance for only 190$
