strange thing. please help

i disabled some services i thought were useless but apprently one of them was not. ever since doing that, anytime i enter an activation code for a program and register it succesfully, when i restart it'll ask me for the code again, apprently because it wasn't saved in the registry. if anyone knows, what is the service that'll correct that? or if it's not a service, what is the problem? thanx...

Check for Protected Storage service and cryptographic service. Hope it helps.
