DVD Decoder

I just put my computer together and it works fine. But when i try to play a dvd it says I dont have the software. I tried on WMP and it told me i dont have a DVD decoder. How can i get this.

You'll need a VOB/MPEG-2 decoder. Search google for a codec pack and it should contain all the codecs needed.

i tried downloading one but it didnt fix the problem. i try to play it on real player but it says i must have a dvd software installed on my computer. It says it comes with my computer but i dont think i got one.
