Tru-Flite 3D won't install.

I have Tru-Flite 3D (flight sim) on a CD. I have previously installed it but when I removed it, I deleted it all. I didn't click uninstall because there was no uninstall thingy to click. And I didn't do add/remove programs. Now I realise it is like an old pc game and I had to put in the cd and click runinstall on the cd... (I think?). But now I double click on the "setup.exe" and nothings happens. I go to the add/remove programs and the tru-flite file is still there but it has no size or last time it was used. How can I get it to work. I know the cd still works because I tried it on my dads laptop. Please help!

delete the program files directory and then click the add/remove and it may give you an error but also may remove it at the same time and then try to run it

Yup...Put it on the desktop and did it
