Windows Start up

Have windows Xp home edition.

Upon Start up, PC gets nearly there, but then shows the following message:
"KDB.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Tell Microsoft about,we have created a report.
Send Error Report or Dont Send"

Until we enter one or other of the "send" or "dont Send " boxes, Start Up goes no further. Entering on eof teh boxes allwas start up tp proceed an dcomplete.

How do we get rid of error message???

Er,,,,,,,,, Wher would I find the Start Up List??

In msconfig, just like xtraze said. Press your start button. In the start menu don't go to All Programs, choose Run on the right side. In the Run dialog type msconfig. When the window comes up, click the Startup tab. Voila, here is your startup list. Find the entry you're looking for, and uncheck it.
