BuddyRo, how does that board OC?

I hear you can OC your cpu and NOT your ram? How high can you get your E6300???

no no.... not at all.... Most Boards go 8x when u go sli... i havent seen a board that does 16x in sli..

most 680i boards are 16x in SLi... and there are a few s939 boards that do it as well

ya i figured the new 680i boards would do 16x sli.... BUT u gotta watch it, like the ASUS 680i has 3 pciE and it does 8x8x16 but it dont really matter no real performance loss....

to Benny... I havent tried OC on this Processor yet i did a quikie about a week ago, got to 299 FSB but my RAM is 667 its gonna hold it bak some lol waitin on some good Gskill 800 to get here lol...

Are you sure there's no difference between 8x and 16x? I mean, PCI-E took over AGP for a reason.

I'll be less skeptical once you have some proof to back it.

Dude if u go SLI (which is not worth it rite now) I promise u will not no if ur runnin x8 or x16 lol

For Proof... i have none i run in x16 ... but my buds 7800GS agp card Runs just as good as my PCIE X16 7800GT

so its really ur call...

I probably wouldn't notice with my eye, but would the benchmarks notice? Probably.

OK, looks like im switching to the MSI P6N-FI. I'm bumping up my soundcard to a X-Fi xtremegamer , and picking up a x-230. Now I gotta better set up, and still saved $50 overall. You guys deserve a medal or something. Thanks again.

I love catching people at college trying to sell A64/7600GT/1GB setups for $750 lol. I just post links to their parts and go "wow! your parts must be really good because all I found is these ones for like $350....hmm..."
