Forgive me for my ignorance but...

Windows 2003 Exchange

2003 Outlook

I have 2 inboxs, etc.. in outlook. One says 'Personal Folders' and the other one is 'Mailbox - my name'..

Does Outlook always set it up that way? If not, how do I delete the one I don't use?

When I go to 'Tools', 'Email acounts', 'View or change existing email accounts'....there is just one listed. It says 'Microsoft Exchange Server'. I'm afraid to hit 'remove' b/c I don't want it to remove the wrong one...

*So confused*

Can anyone help me out??? I'm learning...

thanks alot fellas! and did i mention that i love you guys!

Is the email account you are using from a Exchange server? If so then you will most likely need both of those accounts on there.

I didn't set it up but I'm pretty sure they are from an ExServer. Why do I need both? Can you help me understand?

Thanks in advance.

Possibly the personal folders is where you set up individual folders for incoming mail. Say you want all mail from your boss to go to a specific folder. Kind of a mail sorting thing. I may be completely wrong on this.

Are you on a domian?

This could be setup like this from the Exchange Admin

A personal Files folder is what I set up for users to archive their emails so their inbox wont fill up.

Go to file, Data File Management and tell me if anything shows up in there
