**** me! my computers blown

HELP!!! URJENT ATTENTION NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it all happend when i wanted to see what other voltage my other psu could swap too so i turnd off the computer and switched it...
BOOM sparks went flyin and smoke went driftin lol

anyway i thought... hmm ill go buy a new PSU cant lose anything so went to local hardware shop and bought a 300watt psu for £12/25$ came home plugs everything in... turnd it on and nothing,,, absolute nothing,,, no fans no noise no bangs and no smoke.... tryd it again but this time with a different motherboard... PSU (the new one) same CPU amd duron 800mhz, same graphics card, and everything.... still dead nothing works at all.... what is it?!

is there anyway of finding out whats gone on my computer?!?! to me it sounds like the cpu... but im not the expert!!!
