hooking up a pc to my BIG tv

yeah i was going to use a dvi ....

i know that (dvi and hdmi) > vga, thats why i have this long arse dvi-hdmi plug. but my tv interfaces with videocards better with a dvi->vga or dvi->vga adaptor and a vga-vga cord... it says so in the manual. i can only format the picture on the tv screen when the signal from the video card is coming thru the vga port.
this is specific to my tv though

ok 7600gs... JUST ON THE BIG SCREEN, that means one monitor, will it run it fine? the card has to be AGP, yeah using an old mobo for this build.
