ive been hearing great things about acer. id never heard of them until i started looking around for a monitor.. ill deffenetly consider them,

that gayway though has one thing on all of them, HD and componinte video inputs and since i want this monitor for more then JUST the pc its hard to turn my back on such usfull features

the panels are all the same, its just a brand preference.

the samsung has height/tilt adjustments though.

that being said, i've had an acer 22" since september and its working great, no complaints. you might want to go with the sceptre since it has a usb port. (the 1200:1 contrast ratio is "dynamic" so its really only 600:1, which doesnt make it better than the samsung) All in all, i'd say samsung becuase of the adjustment capabilities.

just out of curiosity what does everyone have agenst the gateway, it rated better then all of these others on Cnet do you just not like gateway because if thats the case and the others are not truely better the please tell me because the gateway has some cool stuff
