Inside a DVD-RW Drive

Lastnight I loaded a DVD into my laptops dvd rom drive, and I might have shut it too hard or something but now it will not open. I push the button and all I get are two clicks. So it tries but fails. I turned the pc over and a flat metal peice fell out. What I want to know is if there are any dvd drive blow up prints available online as to where I might get an idea of where this peice might go. I want to try and fix this myself as I cant afford a tech right now. If someone knows of schematics like this please post links. Thank you.
