Windows Xp Not Working (Again)

Please excuse my ignorance if i posted this in the wrong place.. but i dont know what category this would be under..

I recently got a virus and it infected all my .exe files on vista and xp.. so i had to reinstall both.

Now xp stoped working AGAIN!! (vista ultimate is fine)

Last night it was working perfectly, then before i went to bed I started downloading C&C tiberium wars demo, fear combat, and i was converting 2 movies for my zune.

After i woke up it was all finshed.. and i installed a new driver, installed fear combat, and ccleaner. I restarted and something weird happened....

It took like 30 min to load!!

Everything is slow now, including the logon screen.

Could it be new drivers?

I have no idea where to start... what should i do.

remove the driver you installed and see and maybe do a windows repair install

i tried both and no success.. i cant get windows repair to work because my cd is to scratched.

... guess ill have to get xp AGAIN.. and reinstall
