where the computer is going to be (my basement) is really really cold. i mean, my hands are basically frozen as i type this. however, i agree that it could be a good idea to get an aftermarket heatsink, but i want to see how it does on stock first. besides, if i can squeeze out 2.7-3.0 on stock, i can wait it out.

Get E6300 and OC it!!!

Maybe save some money and get a 8800GTX

i think i'll stick with what i got. i went down from the e6600 to the e6400 for the same reason. i am just going to overclock to get the same type of performance.
