I have a cordless laser mouse, which is sometimes so jumpy that it is hard to put it on a link. It works fine on some surfaces but on a lot of the it is extremely jumpy. One of the surfaces it is jumpy on is a mouse pad. Can someone tell me why this is happening and/or how to or what to use to fix it?

faulty mouse or bad link to the reciever?? my laptop mouse does it sometimes as well, but i think its because the connection to the reciever sucks.

when it comes to laser mice dont get the cloth layered mouse pad (jell on button cotton on top) it will work ok but it will skip abit. i have one on my laptop (skips a little) but on my desktop i use one that has plastic layered top, perfect...
