here is the RD790-SB600 mobo reference sheet i found:

AMD roadmap of desktop processors coming out, im planning on getting the Agena FX :

AMD (ATI) roadmap of chipsets coming out, im planning on getting the RD790 chipset, for now until something in mind comes up *wish it had 2 PCI slots to use M-AUDIO n a future AGEIA PhysX Accelerator i want to get for "certain" games, but since it has only 1 PCI, im gonna have to wait for a PCI-E version of the PhysX Accelerator*:

to those that it may concern, i am going to eventually have at LEAST 2 PCI-E slots taken for use of a pre-OCed, or non, X2900 XTX n probably another *if not then R680 if i get to it later*. The third slot i probably might use in the FAR future, but as for now, 2 slots taken is fine. Here is how the Physics engine works with Crossfire *like it has any use for anything lol*:

EDIT:

im sry if this bugs u ppl, i need need help in preparing in the biggest budget im ever going to spend this year!

EDIT 2:

im planning on getting 2 x 2GB DDR2 800, forgot to mention it before.

I doubt you'll need 1000w but that's what you want so there's a good 1000w psu right there.

Like I said in your other thread, you won't know the power usage of future products for sure until they're out and tested. You can guess, but IMHO it'd be better to wait on the psu till you know exactly what you need to be able to support.

ya but if u remember, im gonna try my hardest to get the X2900 XTX n the PSU at the same time, my 550w wont handle it.

EDIT:

ha ha funny, but seriously, i can go with 900w n up, ok?

You do know...that the 3rd PCI-E slot they put on boards like the 680i are for a physics card right? I'm pretty sure that they don't have plans of perfected 3x SLI yet...

Also I still Think that 800w should be all you need. You can SLI 2 8800GTX on a 450w PSU as long as the amps are good. I just don't see you needing 1000w...

again, im getting the OEM X2900 XTX n possibly a second one unless i go for the R680, which probably wont happen.

OEM X2900 XTX consumes 270w, having another is 540w, then over 300w for the mobo, Agena FX, n 2 x 2GB DDR2 800 SDRAM = 840w.

do the math.......

plus, i might use that physics slot for a PCI-E PhysX Accelerator.

hmm come to think of it, i should just get a cheaper PSU, darn it, well back to newegg.com. *searching*

Wow...those cards take too much power then. Have fun paying the electric bill lol...

a high power efficienty of 85% should reduce that, i hope..........*still searching newegg.com*

EDIT:

i found a cheap, good one, only complaint i have found with this PSU, reading from the reviews, is how short in length the cables r, this could be a problem......
