Technician told me Asus is getting cheap, and full of problems... True or false?

I was going to buy the AMD64 3200+ with an Asus mobo. Then a technician told me that Asus are getting cheaper, and there has been many problems with the AMD64. True?

I do not trust asus either. in the future I will stay away from asus motherboards like the plaque. from my experience my asus motherboard is having hardware problems less than a year later. it is the a7n8x deluxe.

Asus is actually a good product for the price. You will always here more Asus problems as they are the company that sells the most motherboards.
