Well I'm wondering if my PCI slots are dead. MY sound card and wireless card will be working fine then all of a sudden stop working, almost at the same time, but when I reset my pc they work for awhile again. I bought a usb wireless adapter works fine no problems. Both my PCI-E slots work fine. just my pci slots.

i would doubt that there dead as they wouldent work atall then

have you recently installed any new hardware ?
Have you recently installed any hardware management software?

have you accidently removed or inserted something from or in to a pci slot whilst machine was still powered on or in standby?

Ive never heard of this before and im intreeged ^^

No I just built my computer and totally reformated the hard drive
